Installation Of A New Grand Secretary

Please let me take this opportunity to introduce myself as the newly appointed Grand Secretary of the Grand Holy Royal Arch Chapter of Pennsylvania. As you are aware by now, I have been appointed to this position following the untimely passing of Most Excellent Companion George F. Morrow, MEPGHP. I will be serving in this capacity for the remainder of the current Capitular Year, while the Interview and Selection Committee solicits a permanent replacement.
I would like to give you a little background information about myself. I recently completed a six-year term as District Deputy Grand High Priest of the 8th Capitular District in northeastern
Pennsylvania. I also previously served as the Secretary of Warren Royal Arch Chapter No. 180 in Montrose, Pennsylvania until their merger with Lackawanna Chapter in 2020. Serving in these capacities has offered me the opportunity to experience first-hand the challenges that you face as the Secretary of your Chapter.
Even though my tenure is limited, please rest assured that I am here to serve you! There are no challenges so great that they cannot be overcome if we work together. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel that I may be of assistance to you personally or to your Chapter.

On Janaury 10th, M.E. Companion Eric C. Stahley attended Lackawanna Chapter No. 185 for the purposes fo Installing Comp. M. Vincent Cruciani as Grand Principal Sojourner.
The Chapter was also conferring the Royal Arch Degree that evening, and Exalted 6 new Royal Arch Masons for the 8th District!

On January 10th, M.E. Companion Keith A. Erb attended the Stated Meeting of Tyoga Chapter No. 194 in order to install Comp. P. Cal Wynkoop as Grand Marshall. M.E. Comp. Erb was accompanied by Comp. David J. Loveland, DDGHP of the 15th Capitular District.

It is my sad duty to announce the death of Most Excellent Companion George F. Morrow, Most Excellent Past Grand High Priest and Most Excellent Grand High Secretary.
George’s accomplishments are well known and this is a serious blow to Freemasonry in general and Grand Chapter in particular, as George was a vital part of day-to-day operations of Grand Chapter and a District Deputy Grand Master for the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania as well as many other Grand Masonic Bodies.
This is very unexpected as he was performing his duties as Grand Secretary within an hour before his death.
May Almighty God in His infinite Goodness extend His mercy toward our brother, and to all of us and crown our hopes in the realm of a boundless eternity.

Grand Almoner for the Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania
On Janaury 5th, M.E. Comp. Eric C. Stahley, Grand King, made an official vist to his home Chapter (Berwick-Bloomsburg No. 218) in order to install Comp. Joanthon K. Leffler as the Grand Almoner for the Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania.

On January 4th, MEGHP Jason F. Craig and Grand Scribe Keith A. Erb made an official visit to Chapter No. 3. At that visit, the MEGHP installed Comp. Edward T. Clifford III as Junior Grand Master of Ceremonies, and presented Comp. Anthony J Dintino III with his patent as DDGHP of the 1st Capitual Dristrict.
